Statement: In the exploration of colors, I wanted to highlight how important colors are to appealing the human eye and how different colors can affect our emotions and what we think of something. I often notice the people around me basing their decision off of the color of a certain item and how they feel "good" inside because of its beauty to them. And although we may not think about it or notice it, colors are vital to how we live. So, in this photo essay I wanted to highlight colors that attracted the people around me, wherever I was. I not only paid attention to their feelings toward a color or colors, but I also tried to take the image in what they saw it as in the moment. Whether that be a mix of emotions and thoughts or just a simple reaction. This is an ongoing project that I will be exploring in my free time, hopefully improving on different colors and reactions.
